The retainer reserves your date and allows planning to begin. It’s applied toward your total project cost and is non-refundable, but it can usually be transferred to a new date if you reschedule with enough notice and we have availability.
If you need to reschedule, we’ll do our best to move your session and apply your original retainer to a new date based on availability. If you cancel, the retainer remains non-refundable, and any additional refund eligibility depends on how close the cancellation is to your session date.
The remaining balance is due by the date listed on your invoice or booking details. Final edited images are delivered once the balance has been paid in full.

Turnaround depends on the scope of the project, editing needs, and current workload, and we’ll give you a general timeline before booking. Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee if your deadline and our schedule allow.
The number of final edited images depends on your session type and what is included in your package or proposal. Commercial projects are usually based on the agreed shot list, while portrait sessions follow the image count listed in your selected package.
Final images include professional editing such as color correction, exposure adjustments, cropping, light cleanup, and finishing touches for a polished, consistent result. Your project includes one proofing or selection process and one round of reasonable revisions; additional revisions, advanced retouching, complex compositing, or extra images can be added for an additional fee.
No, because RAW files are unprocessed captures and not the finished product, Orange Oak Studio delivers fully edited images that are polished and ready to use. In select commercial cases, RAW files may be licensed in advance for an additional fee.

Commercial sessions include a business-use license for your own brand and marketing, including your website, social media, email marketing, online stores, and print materials. Your commercial usage kicks in once the project is paid in full, so everything stays clean and simple on both sides.
Family and personal sessions include a personal-use license for printing, sharing on personal social media, albums, gifts, and home display. Any business or promotional use of family or personal images is a separate commercial license.
Your agreement restricts the use of the images to train AI models or generate new content without written permission.
Normal edits in programs like Photoshop or Canva, such as resizing, cropping, masking, or adding text and graphics for licensed use, are still allowed and not the intent of this restriction.

Projects within Phoenix and surrounding areas are generally priced with local travel included unless noted otherwise. For locations outside the area or projects with added logistics such as parking, permits, tolls, or lodging, any extra costs will be outlined in your quote or invoice before booking.
Most sessions are designed to work well on location, but if your project needs a rented studio, that cost is usually separate unless it is already included in your custom quote. We’ll confirm the studio details, pricing, and responsibilities before booking.
Ship-in product photography may be available for select projects depending on the type of product, number of items, timeline, and handling needs. Clients are generally responsible for shipping to and from the studio, and it helps to include a packing list, product details, and any shot priorities when sending items.

Orange Oak Studio focuses on product photography, headshots, corporate teams, family sessions, and unique custom projects.
No, not at this time. Orange Oak Studio does not offer wedding, engagement, or maternity/newborn photography, but we’re happy to point you toward other options when possible.
